Data Loss Prevention

Data loss prevention (DLP) technologies monitor, detect and remediate the leakage of sensitive and regulated data (or any data of high value) using policy driven processes that scan content for compliance and governance violations the enterprise defines.

Once violations are found DLP systems trigger a range of remediation options including notification, deletion, quarantine and encryption.  DLP policies can also define who can share what content with internal and external users and groups. For cloud applications DLP tools provide cloud specific policies and controls and may also integrate with existing enterprise DLP systems.
