Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)

Cloud access security brokers (CASBs) are on-premises, or cloud-based security policy enforcement points between cloud service users and cloud service providers (CSPs).

The technology provides consistent security policy across multiple CSPs and combine several security domains including visibility and monitoring, anomaly detection, data loss prevention, collaboration controls, encryption, tokenization and enterprise integration (SSO, SIEM, Enterprise DLP, Directory). CASBs serve as a critical layer of security and compliance by ensuring that only authorized parties access cloud resources and protect sensitive data before it enters a third party infrastructure.
