CipherCloud to Moderate “Security in the Hybrid Era” Event
CipherCloud joins experts from FireEye, Google, McAfee and Palo Alto Networks to discuss security and privacy concerns for the hybrid enterprise
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 24, 2014 – The rapid adoption of cloud has extended to enterprise IT, creating new considerations for security and privacy regulations. On June 25, 2014, CipherCloud, the leader in cloud information protection, will sponsor the Mission College Center for Innovation and Technology (MC2IT)’s expo and panel discussion on “Security in the Hybrid Era.”
The heavy adoption of the cloud has transformed the enterprise into a hybrid model where some systems are on premises while others are moving to the cloud. As the traditional network expands beyond the four walls, new threats, like ubiquitous surveillance, super-sized bugs and hackers, are exposing security and privacy challenges in the hybrid stack. At this event, experts from FireEye, Google, McAfee, Palo Alto Networks, and the High Tech Law Institute will assess the threats and discuss advancements in technology to address them.
“The enterprise is evolving into a hybrid entity, which in turn is driving security innovation and privacy reform,” said Lise Feng, Director of Corporate Communications for CipherCloud and panel moderator. “Fittingly, MC2IT is bringing together technology leaders and privacy experts to discuss how businesses can adapt to the new IT and regulatory environments for conducting business across the globe.”
